NICAEA TODAY
To commemorate the 1700th, anniversary of the Ecumenical Council of Nicaea (AD 325) and in celebration of the feast of St. Athanasius the Apostolic (7 Pashons, 15 May),
the St Athanasius and St Cyril Theological School will host a theological conference for scholars and interested lay Orthodox Christians in North America. This conference theme is, “Responding to the Contemporary Challenges through the Lens of Nicaea”.
This conference was proposed by His Holiness Pope Tawadros II,is hosted by His Eminence Metropolitan Serapion and ACTS, and will attended by Coptic Orthodox bishops, clergy and delegates from North America. The conference program will feature three days of keynote lectures and academic papers by select clerical and lay scholars.
